Rankin Tran

Rankin is a motivated Student Marketing Assistant intern here at the Big Idea Center and reports to Tiffany Bicek, our Outreach, Engagement, and Marketing Coordinator. He is currently pursuing a degree in Digital Narrative and Interactive Design, a minor in Computer Science, and a certification in National Preparedness and Homeland Security. His passion for accessible human-centered design compliments his interest in corporate storytelling, and this has led him to a path in marketing and advertising. In his role as a Student Marketing Assistant intern, Rankin hopes to increase awareness of the Big Idea Center’s commitment to facilitating student success and ultimately help to seamlessly integrate the Big Idea Center’s programs into student journeys with innovation and entrepreneurship.

As a Pittsburgh local, Rankin loves attending community events to learn about the things people are passionate about. When he’s not at an event, his free time usually consists of baking or volunteering.
