Hands-on with HealthTech Startups Workshop: Value Propositions & Business Models

**Please note: This workshop topic is different from the one held in November 2023. Any previous attendees are encouraged to attend and continue with the series!**
An invention truly becomes an innovation when it impacts a customer in a meaningful way. In other words, the product or service creates value for others. However, figuring out what is valuable to customers is just one piece of the puzzle that startups must determine. Businesses must also strategize on what unique business practices they will incorporate in their day-to-day operations in order to deliver on creating this value and ultimately gain revenue.
The goal of this interactive workshop will be to introduce students to exciting local startups by exploring the value propositions and business models they employ. Students will hear from local entrepreneurs and have the opportunity to work alongside them to identify a means to translate value into revenue.
Teams will then present their findings to a panel of judges in a no-pressure environment. Those with the strongest analysis will receive a prize!
