Iris Matijevic

Iris Matijevic serves as the Manager of Student Programs at the Big Idea Center. With a background spanning higher education, public policy, and program management, she has extensive experience developing and delivering educational programs, large-scale events, and collaborative initiatives involving students, faculty, government officials, and community partners.

As a University of Pittsburgh alumna, Iris is excited to return to Pitt and contribute to the university community that shaped her own academic and professional journey. She is passionate about creating engaging opportunities that empower students to explore ideas, build connections, and develop the skills and confidence to turn those ideas into action.

In her free time, Iris enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events.
